We’ve come from places wide and far. Aerana, Irāna, Kōtirana, Ingarani, Tiaina, Hāmene. Aotearoa is our whenua. Tāmaki Makaurau is our home.
We are Marque, a branding, digital and design agency. We’ve been doing this for over 20 years, working with organisations across Aotearoa.
Tikanga Māori is part of who we are. It locates us, guides our thinking, influences our design and enriches our lives.

Brand Design

You may ask, how can a symbol or a set of symbols capture the essence of a brand? It happens by working within the framework of the brand strategy, which informs the design brief. The brand identity elements are reasonably well understood – a name, logo/brand mark, colour palette, typography, graphics, motion and photography styles and messaging. Importantly, strong brands are created when the visual and verbal elements work together to build a brand identity that resonates with the target audience and expresses the brand’s positioning and difference.
